Background: Snapshot indicators are a group of indicators that are not meant to be summed over time. Instead, the value entered at the end of the quarter is a “snapshot” of the cumulative total for that indicator. For example, just after the Q2 data entry closes, pulling data for a snapshot indicator for the Q2 time period and the entire FY should match. In contrast, for non-snapshot indicators, pulling data for the entire FY would be the sum of the Q1 and Q2 values.
How it Works: Two weeks after the beginning of each quarter, DATIM will change which quarter is shown in the FY total. For example, in FY22, the FY total will match the Q2 data value beginning January 15th, since Q2 begins January 1st.
