• Okta implantation in DATIM:
  • DATIM has rolled out Okta for SSO/MFA. 
  • DATIM (DHIS2) usernames are not needed for authenticating through Okta, so all existing usernames were updated to the following convention :
    • first name [hyphen] last name [hyphen] OU [hyphen] type [hyphen] random four-digit number
    • Previously existing usernames were moved to the DATIM Profile "interests" field.

  • Updated the 18-20 Age Band for the OVC_HIVSTAT FY24Q2 Cleaning Favorite.
• User Administration App Update about *Single Sign-On:
  • A notification has been added to the User Admin App to inform DATIM User Administrators about the pending transition to Single Sign-On (SSO). 
    • Any DATIM user account invites sent before June 2024 must finish their activation before that transition. If they do not, they will need to be re-invited to DATIM after the switch to SSO.

           *There will be forthcoming emails to all DATIM users with more detailed information about the transition.

  • The Semi-Annual Status Update form was missing the current period in the drop-down list. The dropdown now lists the current reporting period in addition to the prior periods.
• TX_ML FY24 Patient IIT after 6+ months on TX Indicator Update
  • An update has been made to a calculated indicator in the curated TX_ML favorite in the Data Visualizer App. There was a User Interface bug that "flipped" the male and female data for the 60-64 age band when viewing it in that App. The entered data values are all correct and were not affected by this issue.

FY24 Code lists – Due to metadata changes in DATIM, many MER indicator UIDs have been updated or changed. Please ensure you are using the most up-to-date code lists on the DATIM Data Import and Exchange Resources on DATIM Support.

1. Overview of Changes

These updates were deployed to DATIM on January 2, 2024 for the data entry period opening on January 3, 2024. This update includes MER FY24 Results and FY25 Targets data entry form and metadata updates (details listed below). 

NEW DISAGGREGATIONS:

• HTS_SELF (RESULTS ONLY): Added optional disaggregate under disaggregate group “Unassisted self-testing” to report “Caretaker for Child.”
• PrEP_NEW (RESULTS ONLY): Added required disaggregate group for “PrEP Type.” Added optional disaggregate group for PrEP distribution. Add optional disaggregate group for “Pregnancy/breastfeeding status.”
• PrEP_CT (RESULTS ONLY): Added required disaggregate group for “PrEP Type.” Added optional disaggregate group for PrEP distribution.
• HTS_TST (RESULTS ONLY): Split PostANC 1 modality into two modalities with fine age bands to include Post ANC1 Pregnant and L&D Post ANC1 Breastfeeding.

INDICATOR DEFINITION CLARIFICATIONS

• CXCA_SCRN (RESULTS ONLY): Added minor clarifying guidance disaggregate definitions for CXCA_SCRN_POS.
• HTS_TST (RESULTS ONLY): Clarified that HTS provided to individuals with presumptive TB should be reported under OtherPITC and not under TB_STAT; Clarified guidance for how to report HTS if an implementing partner does not report on all testing modalities.
• KP_PREV (RESULTS ONLY): Updated definition to require distribution of condoms, lubricant, and offer or referral to PrEP to count an individual under KP_PREV; Updated definition to include giving the option of distributing an HIV self-test as an alternative to traditional HTS; Updated numerator and denominator to include primary or secondary interventions designed for intended key population; Updated definition to include reaching number of KPs at least once during reporting period.
• OVC_SERV (RESULTS ONLY): Clarified guidance around Peace Corps Volunteer OVC Preventive activities in indicator reference sheet.
• PP_PREV (RESULTS ONLY): Updated definition to include giving the option of distributing an HIV self-test as an alternative to traditional HTS.
• TX_TB (RESULTS ONLY): Clarified definitions of TB screen result by screening type.

RETIRED DISAGGREGATIONS:

• LAB_PTCQI (RESULTS ONLY): Reduce the number of disaggregates by condensing Lab/CQI and Lab/PT into one disaggregate with 4 categories; Condense POCT/CQI and POCT/PT into one disaggregate with 4 categories.
