Background
For COP22/FY2023 Expenditure Reporting (ER), all Implementing Partners and Subrecipients can report using a generic, Simplified Expenditure Reporting Template, which will be imported in DATIM via the ERB Processor App.
NEW IN COP22/FY23: The Simplified Expenditure Reporting Template is not required for COP22/FY23 reporting. Reporting can now be completed directly in the ERB Processor App in DATIM. Templates are optional and can be used for offline data compilation. Therefore, this year Implementing Partners have the option to report their expenditures via three methods:
- Import: You can click the “Import” button on the ERB Processor App, select your completed Simplified Expenditure Reporting Template, and the app will ingest it (similar to previous years). Once it has been imported, the amounts entered in the template will be available in the app for final review and updates.
- Copy and Paste: You can copy and paste your expenditure data directly from the Template into the ERB Processor App.
- Direct Entry: You can enter your expenditure data directly into the ERB Processor App itself. This means you can effortlessly input intervention information and expenditure amounts within the application.
General Notes:
- Each organization must now report individually on a Template. The option to report multiple Subrecipients with expenditures below $25,000 within the Prime’s template is no longer available. Once one reporting tab has expenditures entered, the other tab will be grayed out to ensure that only one organization is entered per template.
- Please only use the official template for FY2023 Expenditure Reporting to ensure accurate and standardized reporting.

This template should be used for reporting Fiscal Year 2023 (October 1, 2022 - September 30, 2023) PEPFAR program expenditures by Implementing Partners; a separate template should be completed for each separate Operating Unit (OU) and Award.
