FY19 Code Lists – Due to metadata changes in DATIM, many MER indicator UIDs have been updated or changed. Please ensure you are using the most up-to-date code lists on this DATIM Support Page.

1.  Overview of changes

These updates were deployed to DATIM on January 3, 2019 in preparation for FY19 Q1 Data MER Results and COP19/FY20 MER Target data entry period opening on January 7, 2019.  This document outlines the MER FY19 Results and COP19/FY20 Targets data entry form  updates. Please reference the link above for an overview of the changes made to DATIM Pivot Tables.

  • New Fine Age/Sex Disaggregate Changes:
    • Unknown Age bands have been added to Age/Sex Disaggregates for most indicators.
    • Fine age bands for 40-49 (M/F) have been changed to 40-44 and 45-49 bands.
    • Under 10s (<1, 1-9) age bands (no sex) have been changed to finer age/sex bands (<1 (M/F), 1-4 (M/F),5-9 (M/F).

 

  • New  Data Entry Form Auto-Calculations::
    • All Numerators and Denominators are now auto-calculated from specified disaggregates (where applicable, but mostly by their Age/Sex disaggregates)

    • HTS_TST Numerator is now auto-calculated from the sum total of positives and negatives from all HTS modalities
      • HTS_TST_POS sums all positives across all modalities

    • The HTS_TST Modalities of VMMC, PMTCT, TB and Index - are now auto-populated from theHTS_INDEX, TB_STAT, PMTCT_STAT, and VMMC_CIRC data entry forms..

 

  • KP_PREV and PP_PREV Denominators have been removed from data entry
  • Age/Sex Conditional 25-49 age band disaggregations have been removed from all MER Results data entry Forms.
  • TX_RET (N&D) Indicators has been removed from Targets and Q4 Results.
  • New HTS_TST modality: PMTCT (Post-ANC1) has been added at the Facility Level only. 
  • HTS_SELF An "Unknown Sex" input field has been added to the "the number of self-test kits distributed for unassisted testing” " disaggregation.
  • New DREAMS Narrative DREAMS OUs USG users (Agency and Inter-Agency Users) can now enter DREAM-specific narratives in DATIM on the following DATIM data set(s):
  • Host Country Results: Narratives (USG)New Indicators: Below 4 new MER indicators have been added for FY19 Q1 Data Entry
    • PrEP_CURR - Number of individuals, including those newly enrolled, receiving oral PrEP during the reporting period.
    • HTS_RECENT (N&D) - Number of newly diagnosed HIV-positive persons aged greater than or equal to >_ 15yrs with a test for recent infection result during the reporting period.
    • HTS_INDEX - Number of individuals who were identified and tested using index testing services and received their results.
    • TX_MX - Number of ART patients with no clinical contact since their last expected contact.

2.  Indicator Updates - Prevention Tab

 2.1 VMMC_CIRC
