PEPFAR's standard data cleaning period and the data approval processes in DATIM both exist as ways to improve reporting and data quality. Changing MER Results data for periods that have already closed can be a lengthy process because it impacts downstream PEPFAR systems, deduplication, and multiple S/GAC program teams. Also, while data can be updated in DATIM, this also means it may not be updated in additional PEPFAR data systems, like Panorama.
To initiate a MER Results closed period data change, please follow the steps below:
1. Download the "DATIM Closed Period Data Change Request Form_v2"
2. Work with your Organization Units' (OU) PEPFAR Coordinator Office (PCO) to review and approve the data changes. This must be done BEFORE you submit the form to DATIM Support.
3. Enter the justification for your request.
4. Enter your requested changes and be sure to provide as much detail as possible.
5. Submit the completed "DATIM Closed Period Data Change Request Form_v2" to the DATIM Support Team https://datim.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=54655, making sure to choose data change request for closed period from the drop down menu.
PLEASE NOTE - Once the form is received, DATIM Support will seek approval from the OU PPM and the S/GAC PRIME DUIT team. A technical analysis and determination will be made for how best to proceed, if approved.
